Leicestershire CC council leader David Parsons features among senior Conservative appointments to the LGA's programme boards, commissions and group panels announced today.

Cllr Parsons' appointment as chairman of the environment and housing board is matched by fellow Conservative Cllr David Simmonds from LB Hillingdon who becomes chairman of the children and young people's board.
