Regular readers will be aware that I have been pointing out the failure of the Government to provide a compelling narrative for their NHS reforms. In the last couple of weeks, nearly everybody – whether in favour or against the reforms – has pointed out the political fallout from this failure.
At this late hour in the passage of the Bill, when most people have already worked out their own explanation for these NHS reforms, the Government has been trying to develop their own explanation of why they are pushing them through.
