Simon Jay has been appointed as senior managing consultant for pedestrian, cycling and space planning for Atkins' highways and transportation (H&T) business.

Mr Jay joins Atkins from the Olympic Delivery Authority where he was sustainable modes transport manager, working on walking and cycling schemes for 2012 and legacy.
