K&C against contractors' immunity bid

Kensington and Chelsea RLBC has distanced itself from efforts by Grenfell Tower contractors to receive immunity from prosecution for their evidence to the disaster’s inquiry.

Kensington and Chelsea RLBC has distanced itself from efforts by Grenfell Tower contractors to receive immunity from prosecution for their evidence to the disaster's inquiry.

The council's lawyer, James Maxwell-Scott QC, told the inquiry that the authority ‘did not and does not support the application'.
