Conwy fights merger plans

Members of Conwy CC have launched a campaign against possible Welsh Government plans to merge it with another authority.

Members of Conwy CC have launched a campaign against possible Welsh Government plans to merge it with another authority.

The council's deputy leader, Cllr Ronnie Hughes, said local services would face a ‘tsunami' if merged with another authority and council tax bills would soar as a result.
