The leader of Cornwall Council has dismissed claims by a local MP that his authority is dysfunctional as ‘blatant electioneering’.

The leader of Cornwall Council has dismissed claims by a local MP that his authority is dysfunctional as ‘blatant electioneering'.

Speaking during a debate in Westminster last week, South East Cornwall MP Sheryll Murray asked the leader of the Commons, David Lidlington: ‘What can I do about this dysfunctional council?'
