Protecting health services and road repairs are two of the main priorities for Cornwall Council's new administration, cabinet members have claimed.

The administration said it would also work to improve relations with local councils and fight for a fair regional economic deal. After the May elections left Cornwall in no overall control, the Independent and Lib Dem groups have formed a coalition.
