Cornwall restructures chief executive's department

Cornwall Council’s chief executive’s department has restructured, with new roles for several staff which voluntary sector organisations might deal with on a regular basis.

Cornwall Council's chief executive's department has restructured, with new roles for several staff which voluntary sector organisations might deal with on a regular basis.

Matt Barton takes on the new role of assistant head of service for strategy and localism. Staff in the partnership and localism teams report to him. Steve Besford-Foster is now localism manager, reporting to Mr Barton. Rob Andrew moves from localism to a new role with responsibility for special projects, starting with Green Cornwall. He reports directly to assistant chief executive, Paul Masters.
