Corporate Director

These are demanding times in Allerdale as we face the challenge of transforming the way we deliver services.

Having put in place a new management structure we are now looking for a Corporate Director to join our management team who has drive, enthusiasm and capacity to identify and implement strategic solutions as well as positive and robust leadership skills. Your business acumen will be second to none and you will have a significant understanding of current and emerging local government issues. You need to be able to make change happen by challenging existing practices and identifying new ways of delivering services that are innovative, efficient, provide value for money and meet the needs of the community.

We want people who live, work and visit Allerdale to get the best services with the resources available to us. So if you have a track record of successfully implementing change through working with members, employees, partners and stakeholders this job will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to make a difference and help shape Allerdale's future.
