Nine councils have been recognized in the 2013 COSLA Excellence Awards, including Renfrewshire Council, which won the Scottish Government award for delivering excellence.

COSLA President Councillor David O'Neill, said the winners 'sum up what local government is all about - innovative and joined up services, delivered by hard working staff, that are changing lives every day.'
