Aylesbury Vale DC's cabinet has backed plans to look at breaking away from Buckinghamshire CC to create a unitary authority.

The cabinet met last week (12 February) to approve a report, which will go before full council on 25 February, to set aside £80,000 to develop a business case on becoming a single-tier authority.
