Inverclyde Council chief executive John Mundell is to retire later this year after a decade at the helm.

Inverclyde Council chief executive John Mundell is to retire later this year after a decade at the helm.

He was brought in to help reorganise the council after the publication of the damning Accounts Commission report for Audit Scotland, which branded the council ‘one of the worst' in the country in 2006.
