Council complaints fall

The Local Government Association (LGA) has welcomed a fall in the number of complaints about councils.

The Local Government Association (LGA) has welcomed a fall in the number of complaints about councils.

A report by the Local Government Ombudsman (LGO) published today shows there were 18,436 registered complaints and enquiries in 2013/14, down from 18,940 in 2012/13.
