Council to improve election process following report

Stoke-on-Trent City Council has pledged to introduce a raft of improvements, following the publication of a highly critical review into how it handled the May 2016 elections.

The local authority commissioned an independent review by the Association of Electoral Administrators into its own services, which has now been published.
