Council ends incinerator deal

Norfolk CC has terminated its contract with Cory Wheelabrator over aborted plans to build an energy-from-waste incinerator.

Norfolk CC has formally terminated its contract with Cory Wheelabrator over aborted plans to build a £200m energy-from-waste incinerator.

The council pulled the plug on the plans to build the facility in King's Lynn last month following a long-running saga.
