East Riding of Yorkshire Council selected to pilot improvement framework around local government's new responsibilities for health.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has been selected to pilot a new sector-led improvement framework around local government's new responsibilities for health.

The chief executive of Public Health England, Duncan Selbie, said the framework has been developed with the Local Government Association (LGA) and includes support for health and wellbeing boards, Healthwatch and public health.
