Council signs up for own-energy deal

The chief executive of the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) has predicted more local authorities are set to go ‘back to the future’ and into the energy business.

The chief executive of the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) has predicted more local authorities are set to go ‘back to the future' and into the energy business.

Both Cheshire East Council and Southend-on-Sea BC have taken step forwards with their plans to launch their own energy companies.
