Northampton BC has agreed to spend a further £500,000 to recover a £10.25m loan made to a football team.

Senior councillors agreed to allocate the extra money from reserves after it was revealed the local authority had already spent £450,000 trying to recover the loan made to the former owners of Northampton Town Football Club.
