Croydon LBC has given up trying to recover cash from the settlement payment made to former chief executive Jo Negrini just before its financial collapse.

Croydon LBC has given up trying to recover cash from the settlement payment made to former chief executive Jo Negrini just before its financial collapse.

The council's appointments and disciplinary committee unanimously agreed last year to take legal action to ‘recover as much as legally possible' of the £437,000 financial settlement paid to Negrini, who has not responded to requests for comment.
