The new chief executive officer of Great Yarmouth BC has been told his council faces an ‘unsustainable financial position'.

At the same meeting in which councilors agreed to appoint Gordon Mitchell for a temporary 12-month period, members were told the council plans to rip up its existing corporate plan due to the ‘scale of the financial challenges'.
