Blackburn with Darwen Council and NHS Blackburn with Darwen have launched a new telecare service for residents with serious long-term health problems.

The service will be provided by operator Tunstall, and support up to 200 people over the next two years with telehealth units, which will enable them to monitor their own health condition and, where necessary, contact clinical staff.
