Plans for the creation of two unitary authorities in Dorset have been dealt a blow after three councils voted against the proposal.

Christchurch BC, and East Dorset and Purbeck DCs all voted against submitting the plan to create new councils covering the east and west of the county to communities secretary Sajid Javid.
