A South Gloucestershire councillor has called on his own authority to cut the number of its elected members by a quarter.

In an open letter to South Gloucestershire Council chief executive, Amanda Deeks, UK Independence Party member, Cllr Ben Walker, claims the move could save the authority £200,000 a year.
