Plymouth and Exeter city councils have admitted interest in a devolution deal of their own, despite ongoing talks with other local authorities in the region.

Plymouth and Exeter city councils have admitted interest in a devolution deal of their own, despite ongoing talks with other local authorities in the region.

The two councils have written to colleagues at the Heart of the South West partnership, explaining they have been in ‘exploratory discussions' with Torbay Council about a separate combined authority deal.
