A Nuffield Trust study says council-funded care home residents are less likely to be hospitalised than those receiving care in their own homes.

A study by the Nuffield Trust has claimed council-funded care home residents are less likely to be hospitalised than those receiving care in their own homes.

The survey found 58% of care home residents had been to hospital, while 73% of those receiving high-intensity support at home had been admitted.
