Give councils cash to deal with the riots, says Miliband

Local authorities should be given extra cash to deal with the riots, leader of the Labour Party Ed Miliband has said.

Local authorities should be given extra cash to deal with the riots, leader of the Labour Party Ed Miliband has said.

Speaking to the BBC, Mr Miliband claimed the issues surrounding the riots were complex, and should be considered in the future, but for the moment the priority was to restore order.
