Town hall bosses and charity leaders have signed a landmark agreement to regulate street fundraisers, better known as chuggers.

Canterbury City Council became the 250th local authority to sign a agreement with the Public Fundraising Regulatory Authority (PFRA) on how chuggers can operate last week.
