Councils need to 'make it easy' to complain

The Local Government Ombudsman has said councils need to make it easy to raise concerns after a study found people were reluctant to register complaints.

The Local Government Ombudsman has said councils need to make it easy to raise concerns after a study found people were reluctant to register complaints.

Speaking after it was found that 15m people who experienced poor public services in the last two years did not make an official complaint, Dr Jane Martin said complaints could be a ‘force for good'.
