One year after the legislation came into force, the MP behind the Social Value Act has said councils are ‘hungry to adopt' new ways of procuring services.

The Act come into force on 31 January 2013 and to coincide with its one-year anniversary, Social Enterprise UK released new research which showed 81% of commissioners have taken steps to use the Act in the last 12 months.
