An ICT firm launched by Cheshire East and Chester West & Chester councils is to close after reportedly making an operating loss in its first year of business.

CoSocius was created last May to provide business services to both councils, but it was announced last week that from April 2016 onwards or possibly sooner, the ICT service will be provided by Cheshire East Council for both authorities and the finance and transactional services will go back to Cheshire West & Chester Council.
