Councils have pledged to build half a million new homes by the end of the decade in a bid to tackle the housing crisis.

Councils have pledged to build half a million new homes by the end of the decade in a bid to tackle the housing crisis.

The Local Government Association (LGA) has outlined a series of measures, which will include an overhaul of Right to Buy and scrapping the cap on the Housing Revenue Account borrowing limit.
