Councils 'must improve' care for those with HIV

Local authorities must improve the provision of social care for people with HIV, according to a new report by the National AIDS Trust (NAT).

Local authorities must improve the provision of social care for people with HIV, according to a new report by the National AIDS Trust (NAT).

A NAT study, published last week, found that ‘many local councils recognise the real social care needs of people with HIV', but added, ‘restricted budgets are having a negative impact on HIV social care provisions'.
