Scots councils must ensure new legislation forcing them to partner with health boards works or they will be blamed for failure, COSLA chief executive, Rory Mair, told conference delegates.

The Scottish Government, which at one point considered creating a single national care body, is to introduce a health and social care integration Bill this year.
