Councils to make legal team mergers

Kent CC has agreed to create a company for its legal services department as four other councils agree to merge their teams into a partnership.

Kent CC has agreed to create a company for its legal services department as four other councils agree to merge their teams into a partnership.

Kent Legal Services already works with more than 600 public sector bodies, but the council's cabinet agreed last week to form a legal services company to allow it to trade with other clients.
