Councils could face bill over NHF Right to Buy deal

Councils could have to pick up the bill for the deal struck between the government and housing associations, according to a local government think tank.

Councils could have to pick up the bill for the deal struck between the government and housing associations, according to a local government think tank. 

Proposals put forward by the National Housing Federation (NHF) will see 2.3 million housing association tenants get the right to buy their homes, in return for full compensation.
