Councils in Wales have unveiled plans to start charging additional council tax for second homes.

Councils in Wales have unveiled plans to start charging additional council tax for second homes.

Under the Housing (Wales) Act, which comes into force next month, all Welsh councils can charge a premium of up to 100% on top of council tax bills for second homes and empty properties.
