Councils pledge to work to tap into region's potential

Hull City Council and the East Riding of Yorkshire Council have promised to work more closely together following frustration that the two authorities have failed to take advantage of the region’s economic potential.

Cllr Stephen Brady, leader of Hull City Council and East Riding leader Stephen Parnaby, have already met to discuss ways in which they can work together to improve the economy of Humberside and North Lincolnshire.
