Two councils look set to challenge the Department of Health in the High Court over their Care Act funding allocations.

West Berkshire Council and Wokingham BC have a launched a judicial review against the Whitehall department, claiming central government has not given either authority enough to implement the Act, which came into force yesterday (1 April).
