Councils could face another 10% cut in their budgets in 2015/16 in next week’s Spending Review, according to reports in the national press.

As rumours about continue to circulate about possible further cuts, it has been reported that communities secretary Eric Pickles has accepted a 10% cut to the DCLG's £21bn budget in the run up to the Spending Review. Although it has also been reported he could take control of additional funds from other departments.
