Eight years on from the Localism Act, how have attempts to devolve power and decision-making beyond local authorities progressed in London?
Our research has found what could be described as a ‘mixed bag'. While some initiatives have successfully bedded in around the capital, notably Neighbourhood Planning and Business Improvement Districts, we've also found that there are still a number of hurdles to overcome before neighbourhoods and communities are able to have a greater say in the governance of the city.
