Councils are keen to develop new ways of working, but think the pace of change in the sector remains too slow, according to a new survey by the New Local Government Network (NLGN).

The think-tank surveyed more than 65 councils as part of its OneBigIdea project to find new and innovative projects and nearly three quarters (70%) agreed that the pace of change in local government was too slow and needed to speed up.
