Councils urged to undertake troubled family interventions

Troubled Families report says council intervention remains the key means to transforming lives.

Council intervention remains the most effective means of means of support for problem families, the Government's Troubled Families programme has said.

Following the publication of the Working with Troubled Families report, Louise Casey has called on local authorities to review their own intervention practices and employ family dedicated teams to provide practical aid.
