Councils'HS2 fight set for High Court

Fifteen local authorities have been granted a court date for their joint legal challenge against the Governments HS2 plan.

Fifteen local authorities have been granted a court date for their joint legal challenge against the Government's controversial £33bn High Speed Rail 2 (HS2) plan.

The councils' case will be heard alongside four other HS2-related challenges in the High Court from 3 December this year.
