County councils are facing a double whammy of the largest cuts to social care funding and the highest increase for demand in services, town hall bosses have warned.

A report produced by LG Futures for the County Councils' Network (CCN) said its members received 44% less cash funding per head compared to the national average in 2013/14 and 61% less than London boroughs.
