The Country Land and Business Association has appointed Charlotte Lay as its new conservation adviser.

Ms Lay's role will encompass policy work relating to greening of the Common Agricultural Policy, agri-environment schemes, biodiversity, habitat regulations and the Campaign for the Farmed Environment.
