The High Court has ruled that plans by Somerset and Gloucestershire CCs to close a total of 21 libraries are unlawful.

The two councils lost a judicial review at the High Court yesterday after Judge Martin McKenna ruled the local authorities had failed to take into account their equalities duties when pushing through the plans.
