County criticised over refusal to screen video

West Sussex CC criticised by disability charities after banning local residents video during debate.

West Sussex CC has been criticised by disability charities after refusing to let a video made by local residents be shown during a debate on cuts to adult care services.

The presentation by a disabled resident was due to be shown at the beginning of a meeting at County Hall on 19 October, after a petition by the ‘Don't cut us out' campaign received more than 5,000 signatures and forced a special debate.
