County and unitary agree to share chief in national first

Cambridgeshire CC and Peterborough City Council have agreed to share a chief executive, in the first arrangement of its kind between a unitary and county authority.

Cambridgeshire CC and Peterborough City Council have agreed to share a chief executive, in the first arrangement of its kind between a unitary and county authority.

Gillian Beasley will take on her new role on Monday 19 October after councillors from both town halls backed the proposals.
