Tower Hamlets Mayor Lutfur Rahman has been accused in the high court of involvement in electoral fraud in last month’s elections.

Tower Hamlets Mayor Lutfur Rahman has been accused in the high court of involvement in electoral fraud in last month's elections.

Mayor Rahman won on second preference votes, beating Labour candidate John Biggs by 37,395 to 34,143, on a turnout of just under 50% - almost double the turnout of the 2010 elections.
