CPG seeks fairer ways to reform Scottish council tax

The independent, cross-party group (CPG) launched to look at fairer ways of funding Scottish local government wants to gather views on the future reform of council tax.

A call for evidence was made last week by the Commission of Local Tax Reform, an official group co-chaired by minister for local government, Marco Biagi MSP, and president of the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA), Cllr David O'Neill.
